LETHBRIDGE Primary School is closed until further notice after a watermanin ruptured in Bath Road, Old Town this morning.
All 487 pupils were turned away this morning because the school as been left without running water and flushing toilets.
Admin Manager Cathy Mullen said: "We realised the problem before most of the pupils arrived at school this morning so were able to inform parents.
"Any pupils who had already arrived were picked up soon after."
It's thought that Commonweal School has also been closed for the day but parents are advised to check the radio and Advertiser website for constant updates.
