Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director Guy Ritchie has offered a walk-on part in one of his upcoming films as a prize in a children's hospice fundraiser.
And he's offered the winning bidder the chance to meet him on the set and see what life is like behind the scenes.
He and his wife model Jacqui Ainsley, are Patrons of Julia’s House children’s hospice and provided vital support in building the charity’s hospice in Devizes five years ago, hosting a fundraising event on their Wiltshire country estate.
The prize is being offered during the charity's first ever race day at Salisbury Racecourse on September 9 when more than 2,000 visitors will enjoy a thrilling afternoon of racing, from 12:30pm to 7:30pm, including a special amateur jockey’s charity flat race.
Among the A-list auction and raffle prizes are tickets for the director’s box at the Newcastle v AFC Bournemouth match on September 17 and the Chelsea game on November 12 at St. James’ Park.
Head coach Eddie Howe said: "I remember my son Harry having a health scare when he was very young and when you go through an experience like that, you get even more of an appreciation for a charity like Julia’s House and others that care for sick children.
"At this stage in my life, I have a greater understanding of what it means and of the responsibility of being a parent. I am privileged and proud to become a patron of this fantastic charity.”
Another prize is a bespoke F1 weekend package for two to attend the 2023 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.
Guests who have booked VIP tickets will enjoy luxury hospitality from a private viewing terrace, with spectacular Book atjuliashouse.org/raceday View prizes and bid online at jumblebee.co.uk/juliashousesalisburyraceday2022
