Rose Lazarus
A WOMAN who attacked a line of police officers during the Bristol riot has been jailed.
Rose Lazarus, 21, formerly of Wiltshire but now of Bishopston in Bristol, admitted a charge of violent disorder at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, August 8, and was sentenced to 14 months in prison.

Reginald Mullis
A PAEDOPHILE pensioner has been jailed after he was convicted of sexually abusing three girls almost 50 years ago.
Reginald Mullis abused the young girls in the 1970s, causing them trust issues that have continued to this day.
Denying the charges in a trial, the Swindon OAP attacked the character of his victims and still denies abusing them.

Kyron Michael Denmark
A man has been jailed after taking a boat and driving away without the permission of the owner.
Kyron Michael Denmark, of Hill Street in Hilperton, was charged with aggravated vehicle taking - ( initial taker ) vehicle and property damage under £5000, after taking a narrowboat without the owner's permission.
After having unlawfully taken the boat, Denmark drove it around and caused damage as he hit another canal boat.

Marco Pierre White Jr
The son of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White has been jailed for a long list of crimes.
Pierre White Jr, of Corsham, Wiltshire, pleaded guilty to 14 offences which included a number of shop thefts, carrying a knife and racially abusing a Tesco security guard - all within a 16-month period from January last year until April this year.

Neil Thakrar
A DRUG dealer’s £50,000 operation was rumbled by police after his Mercedes was involved in a crash.
Neil Thakrar had built up an enterprise supplying cannabis and later cocaine to his friends and acquaintances.
But when he crashed in April 2020, he was forced to hide a duffel bag full of illicit goods in a nearby woodlands, which was later found by police sniffer dogs.

A WOMAN feared for her life when her partner throttled her while he was drunk and high on cocaine.
Gregory Smith followed her around the house, stabbing her with cutlery and kicked her legs away in the attack.

Trevor Fernandes
A Swindon resident was jailed for more than a decade and will be monitored for almost 20 years after he forced a girl to perform a sex act on a dog.
Trevor Fernandes threatened to expose illicit images of the American teen unless she performed lewd acts on herself, her baby sister and her pet dog.
She was told to comply with his every instruction and call him ‘master Trevor’, or he would send the images to her contacts, Swindon Crown Court heard.

Keith Foster
A judge paid tribute to a rape victim for her bravery in giving evidence against the man who subjected her to an ordeal of rape and sexual abuse over a decade ago.
Sentencing Keith Foster to nine years in jail after he was convicted of four offences against her, Judge James Townsend said: “I wish to pay tribute to her for her courage coming forward and having to relive these offences publicly in front of a courtroom.”

Lee Griffiths
A Swindon man who subjected his partner to multiple assaults over a period of two years has been jailed.
Lee Griffiths, of Milton Road in Swindon, was sentenced to four years imprisonment at Swindon Crown Court last week after he pleaded guilty to several counts of grievous bodily harm (GBH) just one month before the case was due to go before a jury.
