An outdoor sports shop in Swindon's town centre is closing this month.

Affordable clothing and equipment shop Trespass on Regent Street is shutting its doors in less than two weeks.

The shop windows are filled with 'closing down' and 'all stock must go' signs with a notice saying the last day of trade is September 25.

It is less than two years since the store was saved from closure.

Back in October 2020, the outdoor performance clothing shop had similar signs in its windows as the lease was coming to an end. By December 30 of that year, inSwindon BID confirmed that negotiations had been successful and the store would stick around.

A staff member has confirmed that this time the Regent Street branch would be closing for good.

Swindon Advertiser:

Trespass is part of The Brunel Shopping Centre.

On The Brunel website, the section about Trespass says: "We offer a range of outdoor clothing for a widespread number of sports.

"Our staff are on hand to help you select the right jacket, shoe, undergarment, accessory for whatever it is you are doing whether it be walking, skiing, mountain climbing or simply ambling though the countryside.

"Last year saw us launch Trespaws: a range of clothing and accessories specifically designed for dogs.

"Featuring bowls, jackets, leads and collars, this was an exciting new adventure for the Trespass family and we can’t wait to expand the collection even further."
