The STEAM Museum in Swindon has announced that it will be closed on Monday as a mark of respect for the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Her Majesty passed away on Thursday, September 8 at the age of the 96.
Thousands of people are expected to descend in London for the state funeral.
Now the museum which is based in part of the old Swindon Railway Works has said it will not open on bank holiday Monday.
In a short statement on social media, the museum said: “As a mark of respect, STEAM will be closed to visitors on Monday 19th September 2022, the day of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral.
“Our social media posts will be kept to a minimum during this period of National Mourning.
“Please check our website for updates: www.steam-museum.org.uk
“Thank you for your understanding.”

John Lewis, Waitrose and Aldi have also confirmed that they will be closing their stores on Monday as a mark of respect for the Queen.
Sainsbury’s and Argos have confirmed that all their stores will be closed on Monday.
A spokesperson for the supermarket said this decision was "in honour of Her Majesty and so our colleagues can pay their respects".
