Motorists travelling towards Faringdon and Oxford are facing delays on one of the busiest roads going in and out of Swindon.
The A420 is closed from the Faringdon Roundabout to near the village of Watchfield.
It is currently unclear how many vehicles are involved or if anybody is injured.
However, Google Maps is showing multiple reports of crashes and there are long queues as a result.

The A420 is known for having accidents, back in May a crash occurred at the Buckland crossroads.
This resulted in 30 minutes of delays and five miles of queues.
