Two more meetings of Swindon Borough Council’s committees have been postponed next week.
This follows the postponement of four meetings this week during the period of national mourning.
The Meeting scheduled for Tuesday of the Licencing committee has been put back to an unspecified date.
The meeting’s agenda has not been posted online. The meeting listed for Wednesday September 21 of the resources and organisation overview and scrutiny committee has also been postponed.
The agenda for that has been published, with just one substantive item – the council’s new people strategy – to be discussed.
Tat the moment the meeting of the full council on Thursday 22 is still scheduled and will start at 7pm.
A three-councillor strong licensing panel will still be meeting, according to the borough council’s calendar of meetings, at 11am on Friday September 23.
Members of the public are entitled to attend all the meetings when they go ahead, although some agenda items may be heard and discussed in private.
Most meetings, with the exception of planning committee meetings, are also broadcast online with a link posted on the listing for each meeting in the council’s calendar on Swindon.gov.uk.
