A CRASH blocked traffic near the Magic Roundabout.
The A4312 Queens Drive was congested in both directions after an accident involving two vehicles near the ambulance station.
Queues tailed back up to the roundabout which leads to Drakes Way and the multi-roundabout junction which connects to Drove Road, Fleming Way and County Road.
Police were at the scene and closed part of Queen's Drive while redirecting traffic away from the area.
One witness posted on Facebook at 6.23pm: "Avoid Queen's Drive. Heard a massive bang five minutes ago and this is the result.
"No visible sign of any major injury. Emergency services are at the scene with both ways of Queen's Drive delayed. Cars are taking roughly three minutes to pass by the ambulance station.
"The road in the direction of the Magic Roundabout is closed off."
As of 8.20pm, the road was clear and a small amount of damage could be seen on the grassy central reservation.
