Three ambulances, an air ambulance and a police car were sent to a home in Swindon where a woman was later found dead
The emergency services were notified of a non-suspicious death of a woman in her 40s at an address in Redcliffe at about quarter past 8 on Wednesday night.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 20.16hrs on Wednesday 14 September to an incident in Swindon.
"We sent three double-crewed land ambulances, an operations officer and an air ambulance.
"We conveyed one patient to Great Western Hospital, Swindon, by land ambulance.”
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson confirmed its officers attended a “non-suspicious death of a woman in her 40s” and that she was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Our thoughts are with her family and friends and we would ask that their privacy is respected at this difficult time."
