A FAMOUS children's author will be visiting a Swindon school later this month.
Jacqueline Wilson will be speaking to Year 7 students at Ridgeway School about her new novel Project Fairy on September 30.
A group of 20 pupils will have the chance to meet the Tracey Beaker creator following a year group-wide creative writing competition they entered.
The beloved children's book author has written more than 100 novels since her debut in 1969 and many have won prestigious prizes and awards.
She was appointed an OBE for services to literacy in schools in 2002.
