TRIBUTES have been paid to a man who died after a collision on the A419.
The incident involved a pedestrian and a coach on the northbound slip road near to the Great Western Hospital/Commonhead junction at approximately 3pm on August 27.
Phillip Regan, of Great Bedwyn was on foot at the time of the incident. Paramedics took the 58-year-old to Southmead Hospital but he later died as a result of his injuries on September 6.
In a tribute, his family said: “Philip was a kind, caring man who had a passion for antiques and acting.
"He was loved by his family and a very well regarded member of his local community. He will be sadly missed.”
Wiltshire Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and would urge anyone with dash cam footage of the incident to get in touch.
