Police have described a teenage girl as being left 'upset and shaken up' after she was the victim of indecent exposure.
She was walking on the footbridge that passes over Dorcan Way, connecting Liden and Eldene between 8 and 8.30pm on August 28 when an unknown man exposed himself to her.
The man is described as white and scruffy, approximately 40 years old, around 6ft 2 in height and spoke with a Swindon accent in a raspy voice.
He had a piercing on his right eyebrow and a tattoo on his right forearm and was wearing a hat.
The man is said to have walked from Eldene Centre by the Crumpled Horn pub, walking up to the bridge, committing the offence and then continuing towards Liden.
PC Mason, based at Gablecross Police Station, said: “The incident left the victim feeling incredibly upset and shaken up and we are carrying out enquiries to try and identify the person involved.
“We are looking to speak with anybody who may have information on who this man could be, or who may have seen him in the timeframe above and could provide information that will assist enquiries.”
