A man sustained a head injury during an assault in Swindon earlier this month.
At approximately 10pm on September 6, a man in his 40s was walking in Manchester Road when he was punched and knocked to the ground.
He sustained a large laceration to the side of his head during the assault and attended the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries since the incident was reported, and are now in a position to release CCTV images of a group of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the assault.
In the images of the three men, all of which are white, one of them has short brown hair and is wearing blue ripped jeans and a black jacket, another is bald, wearing a green jumper and beige trousers and the third has a blue hoody and a blue baseball cap on.
A police spokesperson said: "If you witnessed the incident or have any information in relation to the images, please get in touch.
"Anyone with information should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220094233.
"Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
