An indoor sports club in Swindon will remain closed for at least another month.
Swindon's pool, snooker and golf club 147 Sports has been closed since August 14 because the venue's roof is undergoing a full repair.
But the Sheppard Street club was told last week that large amounts of asbestos had been found and they would not be able to reopen for at least four weeks.
It is hoped the venue at Station Industrial Estate will be open by the beginning of November.
A 147 Sports spokesman wrote in a Facebook post: "We have just been informed by Swindon Borough Council that there is a four week delay in getting back into the club.
"This is due to large amounts of asbestos being found.
"We are now aiming to reopen at the beginning of November.
"I for one am devastated but will keep fighting to get 147 open as soon as possible.
"Thanks for the continued support guys."
The premier indoor sports club has 10 pool tables, one blackball table and six snooker tables.
Scaffolding is up along a large section of the Carriage Works on London Street.
One sign from Princebuild Ltd reads, 'Working at height in progress'.
