WITNESSES to an argument between two men in a public space claim that one of them had a knife.
Police received reports from the public of what they described as "an altercation involving a knife" earlier this month.
This is said to have occurred on the green area between Eldene and Shaftesbury Lake at some point between 8am and 9.30pm on September 6.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the disagreement.
A spokesman said: "If anyone witnessed the incident or has any information, please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54220093936."
