HIGHWAYS
Under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Act, Swindon Borough Council has given notice of the following temporary orders.
STRATTON ST MARGARET
This Order is being introduced to allow for drainage works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Stirling Road from Vickers Roundabout the roundabout junction with Hunts Rise. Traffic will be diverted via A361 Highworth Road, Supermarine Roundabout, Stirling Road, Hunts Rise and vice versa. The Order will come into force on the 19 September 2022 for 6 months but it is expected works will take between the 19 September to 4 November 2022.
CHISELDON
This Order is being introduced for Wales and West Utilities to carry out works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Turnball outside No's 4 to 7. Alternative Route - via Turnball, New Road, May's Lane and vice versa. The Order comes into the force on October 3, 2022 for 6 months but it is expected the works will be carried out between 7 November 2022 to 20 January 2023.
EDMUNT STREET AND ROLLESTON STREET
This Order is being introduced to allow for sewer cleansing works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Edmunt Street, Rolleston Street between Eastcott Hill and Prospect Hill. Traffic to be diverted via Eastcott Hill, Swindon Road, North Street, Prospect Hill, Cross Street, Crombey Street Access to car park to be maintained via Swindon Road.
The Order will come into force on the 28 September 2022 for 6 months but works are scheduled to take place 28 and 29 September 2022.

WOOTTON BASSESTT ROAD
This Order is being introduced to allow for waterproofing works to the railway bridge and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on the A3102 Wootten Bassett Road and pedestrians from proceeding on the footways adjoining the eastbound and westbound carriageway. For the road closure traffic to be diverted via B4006 Great Western Way up to Bruce Street Bridges, Kemble Drive, B4289 Rodbourne Road, Park Lane, Westcott Place and vice versa. Diversion to be in place for the footway closure. The Order will come into force on the September 26, 2022 for 18 months but the restrictions will only be in force as and when required. The road closure will only be in place for one night as advised on site.

n application has been made to the Licensing Authority for Swindon by K. ASANKA PERERA to vary the Premises Licence issued in respect of BOURNE STORES.
The application seeks the following variation in licensable activities:
1) Single cans or bottles of beer, lager or cider of 5.5% ABV (alcohol by volume) or above shall be sold at any time the premises is trading.
