It's all action at Avebury this autumn as a new programme of events gets under way.
The manor house gardens are acting as an art gallery until October 9, with artists displaying their sculptures and chatting to visitors. The exhibition is open between 10am and 5pm daily and admission is free.
There are landscape walks on October 1, taking in the stunning Neolithic sites with volunteer guides. The cost is £8 and places should be booked.
Apple celebrations are on October 15 and 16, with crafts for children, apple pressing and tasting from the orchard and other family activities between 11am and 3pm. Admission is free with entry to the manor.
For half term there'll be a nature trail in the old farmyard and craft sessions in the barn running between 10am and 4pm. The cost is £3 for the craft workshops and £2 for the trail. Visit nationaltrust.org/avebury for details and to book.
