Purton Parish Council has launched a new web page to help combat the cost-of-living crisis.
The page, which can be found here, provides links which provide support and advice for people in need.
Purton Parish Clerk Deborah Lawrence said: “These are such difficult times for people, more so given the pace of change, so we’re doing what we can. We’ll keep adding more useful information to our site as it is brought to our attention.”
This new page on their website aims to try to reduce the search time online for residents seeking further help and information, by helping local people quickly locate support, advice and resources.
Links on the page take visitors to key online sources of support information made available by High Street Lenders, Charities, Utilities Suppliers, Schools, Wiltshire Council, local and National Charities.
The council say they hope this will provide a useful resource for people living in Purton, who are trying to cope with the rapid pace of financial change and challenge, now being experienced.
For those still not sure where to start or possibly looking for other help and local resources, Purton Parish Council is inviting residents to come in for a chat if that will be of further help.
