Wiltshire motorists are facing delays today as a busy stretch of motorway closes for roadworks.
The M4 eastbound through Reading, between junctions 12 and 11, is closed for the whole of Sunday as National Highways undertake maintenance.
According to National Highways, traffic is queuing all the way from Junction 12 for Theale all the way to Junction 13 for Newbury and the A34.
Traffic is being diverted through central Reading along Bath Road and Rose Kiln Lane before joining the A33 and going past the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Vehicles will then re-join the motorway at Junction 11 before continuing their journey eastwards towards London.
At present National, Highways is saying there are delays of between 20 and 30 minutes.
However, this is expected to get worse as the day goes on.
Last weekend, there was traffic chaos along the roads in Reading as the westbound stretch of the M4 between Junction 11 and 12 was closed.
