A reader has called for speed cameras to be brought back in Swindon
Plea to bring back speed cameras
An open letter to Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire Police.
I am tired of getting over taken (sometimes dangerously) by cars, lorries, vans on 20, 30, 40mph roads when I keep to the speed limit.
The vehicles overtake me at 50 mph/60mph.
So is there anyway speed cameras can be installed in Swindon again or maybe the police can patrol the roads regularly.
A lot of drivers do as they please speed well over the speed limit, park where ever they want.
