Road users have been warned of impending disruption as one of Swindon's major roads is set to close from tonight.
The A419 will be completely closed from the Commonhead junction to the A420 junction overnight.
The road will be closed both northbound and southbound for expansion joint replacements at Lotmead, Nythe and A420 Roundabout North/South.
The road will be closed between 8pm and 6am, between October 3 and October 10.
This means it will reopen during the day, however.
Delays are expected between 10-30 minutes during the road closures.
Drivers are urged to find other routes, such as via the A4259, Coate Water roundabout, B4006, Greenbridge roundabout, A4312 and White Hart roundabout.
The closure is operated by National Highways.
