GOING to Tuesday night's Town game? Here's all you need to know.
Police have issued guidance to football fans ahead of the match against Newport at the County Ground.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm and the Great Western Hotel, opposite the train station on Station Road, will be welcoming any away team supporters.
Bar 71 at the Stratton Bank end of the Arkells Stand will not be open for this match.
Parking is available at the Swindon Cricket Club off County Road and next to the football ground, or at St Joseph's Catholic College on Ocotal Way which is a five-minute walk away via Ocotal Way and Shrivenham Road, or the Spring Gardens multi-storey which is a 10-minute walk to the stadium via Fleming Way.
Swindon Borough Council have ensured that Spring Gardens will remain open until 10.30pm so fans can return to their cars after the end of the match.
A Swindon Police spokesman said: "Roads around the stadium and the surrounding areas are extremely busy on match days.
"Please plan your route to the stadium in advance and allow more time than usual for your journey.
