A popular pizza restaurant in central Swindon was given a low food hygiene rating after an inspection last month.
DOUGH&Co Woodfired Pizza, located in Regent's Circus, was given a 2-out-of-5 food hygiene rating and was said to require improvements in this area.
According to the Food Standards Agency, businesses which are given low ratings must make urgent or major improvements to hygiene standards.
In a rating where 0 is the worst and 5 is the best, a 2, which DOUGH&Co received means that some improvement is necessary for terms of the company's handling of food and the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Dough&Co opened in Recent Circus in December last year.
The independent wood-fired pizza restaurant chain was the brainchild of CEO Chris Sharman, a renowned chef in the UK with Michelin star aspirations.
At the time he said: "It's the first one that we're opening in the South West so we're hoping for great things from it.
"We really liked the location and the unit at Regent Circus, it's the biggest restaurant we've opened to date."
Many companies and eateries choose to display their hygiene rating at the location, but this is not a legal requirement in England as it is in Wales and Scotland.
