THREE drivers from the Swindon area have been given hefty fines in separate court cases.
James Hacker, 46, of Edinburgh Street, was required by police at the Speed Enforcement Unit in Bristol on April 7 2022 to provide information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Similarly, Mohammed Alam, 34, of Devizes Road, was required by Speed Enforcement Unit police in Bristol on April 4 2022 to give officers information about someone who allegedly committed an offence while behind the wheel.
In another court hearing, Yulian Marianov, 51, of Folkestone Road, had to help Avon and Somerset Police via representatives at the Central Ticket Office identify a motorist they thought may have committed a crime.
All three defendants failed to provide this information when required to do so on separate occasions.
These offences were all proven through single justice procedure.
Bath Magistrates Court officials sentenced the motorists to the same punishments.
They each received six points on their driving licences as well as a £660 fine, and must pay £90 towards court costs plus £66 to fund victim services.
