A JEWELLERY shop in the town centre has moved to a new and larger location.
F. Hinds opened on Bridge Street in 1965 then opened another branch on Regent Street, moved to a bigger space in the Brunel Shopping Centre in 1996, and have now moved again to 86 Regent Street.
The new unit features a modern store design and larger window displays than before. This upgrade has enabled the jeweller to offer wider ranges of diamonds, jewellery, top branded watches, and gifts.
All the existing staff transferred to the new store, which includes services such as made-to-measure jewellery design, remodelling and repairs, watch servicing, battery replacements, insurance, Gold for Cash and more.
Sales director Jeremy Hinds said: "We’ve been a family business since we started in 1856 and are honoured to have been to be part of Swindon’s retail scene for well over half a century.
“Moving to a bigger store starts a new chapter for us. Despite the challenging times we all find ourselves in, we can’t wait to bring our bigger, brighter and better store to Swindon with even more brands and bigger ranges.
“Paul Hollister, our general manager, and his team looking forward to welcoming everyone to our new store very soon.”
