TOWN CENTRE: A traffic order (reference STR000482) is being introduced as part of the Fleming Way Bus Boulevard scheme.
It will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on all of Cheltenham Street and Beales Close, Holbrook Way between the junctions with Milford Street and Bridge Street, Milford Street between the junctions with Holbrook Way and Gloucester Street, Fleet Street and John Street (overnight closures only), and Henry Street (restricted access only).
Diversion route to be signed accordingly as required and when available.
The order comes into force on January 3 2023 for 18 months and the closures will be put in place as and when required.

OLD TOWN: A traffic order (reference STR000472) is being introduced for sewer cleaning works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Pembroke Street between the junction with Eastcott Road and Globe Street.
Traffic to be diverted via Pembroke Street, Brunswick Street, Eastcott Road and vice versa.
Works will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm on January 16 2023.
Another traffic order (reference STR000480) is being introduced to allow more sewer cleaning works. It will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on The Mall between the junctions with Okus Road and Commonweal Road.
Traffic to be diverted via The Mall, Westlecot Road, Springfield Road, Devizes Road, Bath Road, Goddard Avenue, Commonweal Road and vice versa.
Works will take place between 9.30 and 3.30pm on January 18 2023.
HIGHWORTH: A traffic order (reference STR000454) is being introduced for Thames Water works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Hampton Lane.
Traffic to be diverted via B4019 Cricklade Road. It is expected that works will take place between January 24 to 27 2023.
WANBOROUGH: A traffic order (reference STR000460) is being introduced for Openreach works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Rotten Row near the verge opposite No 4.
Traffic to be diverted via Rotten Row, High Street, Church Road, Kite Hill and vice versa.
Works will take place on January 11 2023 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Another order (reference STR000461) is being introduced for highway works for Redlands Farm Development. It will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Wanborough Road between the junction with Horpit/ Burycroft and Wick Lane.
Traffic to be diverted via Covingham Drive, Dorcan Way, Marlborough Road, Purley Road, Callas Hill and vice versa.
Works will be carried out on January 16 2023.
A third traffic order for the village (reference STR000471) is being introduced for Openreach works.
It will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Ham Road south of the junction with Church Road for a length of approx. 190 metres.
Traffic to be diverted via Church Road, Callas Hill to Foxhill, The Ridgeway, B4192, Bell Lane, Ham Road and vice versa.
Works will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm on December 9 2022.
BLUNSDON: A traffic order (reference STR000475) is being introduced for Openreach works and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Tadpole Lane between William Morris Way and Wyld Court.
Traffic to be diverted via Tadpole Lane, Oakhurst Way, A4198 Thamesdown Drive, A4311, B4534 Lady Lane and vice versa.
It is expected that works will take place between January 9 and 10 2023.
PURTON: Sally Jeffcock has applied to the licensing authority of Wiltshire Council for a new premises licence allowing recorded music to be played and on-site sales of alcohol at Mardy Moo Double Decker, Down Farm, The Pry.
