We may or may not get a white Christmas but we will definitely be getting a Blue Old Town Christmas Festival.
That's because the Friends of Old Town has announced that their festive event will include some star power from none other than Duncan James, of the recently reformed hit boy band Blue.
The band is heading on a UK tour celebrating their 20-year anniversary, but as this year also marks 50 years of pride in the UK, Duncan will be taking some time out to share his journey in the industry with Swindon locals as well as singing live.

The pop star and actor, who was born in Wiltshire, will be singing three recognizable tunes before turning on the Christmas lights with Santa himself.
The Old Town Business Association is hoping to make this their biggest festive festival after the pandemic prevented the usual celebrations from going ahead in 2020 and 2021.
The top of Victoria Road will be closed to traffic on November 27 so that the main stage and food-and-drink area can be set up for this event, with a funfair arranged by Steven Hill along Wood Street.
To guarantee entry to the event please see its ticket page (minimum £1 donation).
