AN ALDI employee in Wiltshire is celebrating a work anniversary milestone this month after working at the supermarket for 25 years.
Sarah Webb first joined the supermarket in 1997 by beginning her career at the Bedminster store, before moving to her current role as the deputy store manager for the Melksham branch in 2003.
The supermarket chain's superiors praised her for going above and beyond her typical store duties, helping to develop and train numerous colleagues, and taking part in several fundraisers for Aldi’s dedicated charity the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Sarah said: “It has been a privilege to work at Aldi for the past 25 years.
"The business has grown so much during this time, and it has been amazing to be part of that journey and make friends for life along the way!”
When asked about her favourite products, she replied: “This is really difficult as there’s so many, but it’s probably the cinnamon buns – they are my favourite way to start the day!”
Aldi UK's regional managing director John Richardson said: “Without the hard work and dedication of our store colleagues, we wouldn’t be able to provide customers with the excellent and efficient service we’ve become known for.
“Colleagues like Sarah are the cornerstone of our business and I thank her for her continued dedication to the company.”
