A new gym owned and run by sports-fashion retail company JD Sports will be coming to Swindon soon.
JD Gyms promises a "state-of-the-art facility with hundreds of pieces of the very best fitness equipment, huge class stuido, Eleiko functional rig, spacious changing rooms with saunas and a sprint and prowler track", according to the company's website.
“Plus, vast free weights and functional areas," it continued.
“JD Gyms Swindon will give you a truly cutting edge fitness experience at an incredibly affordable price, with 200 discounted memberships available.”
The location of the upcoming Swindon gym is yet to be revealed, as is the exact date of opening.
The company is running a founder member offer for 200 people, which ensures that the first month is priced at the lowered cost of £5, as well as no requirement of a joining fee, which would cost a further £20.
JD Sports is based in Bury, Greater Manchester and was founded in 1981, enjoying success with its clothing shops.
In 2014 the brand ventured into gyms and now runs gyms across the country, including branches in Bristol, Cardiff and Swansea.
