A FORMER member of a parish council in Wiltshire has appeared in court facing allegations of child sex offences.
Tim H Darch was part of Lyneham and Bradenstoke Parish Council's planning committee as recently as 2020.
A recent court listing shows that Timothy Herbert Darch, of Southrop Road in Quedgeley, Gloucester, appeared in Swindon Crown Court on October 14 2022 charged with eight counts.
Three are charges for rape of a child, four are for indecent assault of a child, and the remaining charge is for rape.
The 60-year-old has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him, which are alleged to have occurred between 1994 and 1998, and is now due back in Swindon Crown Court for the start of his trial on May 8, 2023.
