Another water main has burst in Swindon, forcing motorists to take avoiding action.
The incident happened on Friday morning on Dorcan Way by the Piccadilly Roundabout.
Dorcan Way is currently open for traffic, despite the road being flooded.
A Thames Water spokesperson said: “This morning (Nov 18) we’ve received reports of a burst pipe near the roundabout on Dorcan Way and Covingham Drive in Swindon.
"Our engineers are investigating and we’ll do all we can to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.”
Swindon has been blighted with issues regarding burst water mains throughout 2022.
Back in July, there were two incidents in the space of eight days, where a water main burst in the town centre.
Commercial Road was closed after a giant fountain erupted from the ground.
Then in January, a similar incident took place on Moredon Road, where a huge fountain of water came up from the ground.
The road was closed for several days, whilst Thames Water dealt with the situation.
