A Christmas fayre will be held in Swindon this weekend, marking an early start to the town’s festivities this year.
Eldene Christmas Fayre will be held at the Eldene Community Centre and promises to be a great way to kick off the festive season.
Councillor Mike Davies said: “The event was a big success last year with profits helping to provide a free Platinum Jubilee event in the summer.”
“We’re one of the first Christmas fayres so it would be great if people could come along and support local stall holders and start off their Christmas shopping.”
The event will feature sweet treats, crafts, gifts, toys, stocking fillers decorations and more, including crepes which will be sold by Hjalpande Hander.
There will also be a raffle, a tombola and refreshments.
The fayre is set to be held on Sunday, November 20, from 12:20 to 15:00.
The Eldene Community Centre can be found on Eldene Drive, SN3 3RZ.
Entry to the Eldene Christmas Fayre is free and further details can be found out by contacting eledenecommunity@outlook.com, ahead of Sunday.
