The seasonal Christmas tree has been erected in Swindon town centre this week.
This year’s grand decoration features a huge tree bedecked with several silver baubles and sits on a large base made to look like a giant, sparkling gold present box with a red ribbon.
At night, the tree is lit up completely, making it a real festive sightseeing experience for those in the local area.
This latest development in the town’s Christmas plans comes after our article yesterday, which documented everything we know so far about the Christmas light switch on.
Several other events will be taking place in the remainder of this month ahead of December, including the Eldene Christmas Fayre which is set to take place this Sunday.
Elsewhere, the Enchanted Garden Christmas light trail in Old Town is set to return next month too, meaning Swindonians will be far from short of options when it comes to organising Christmas plans in and around the town.
The Christmas tree itself can be located on The Parade, nearby to the H&M store.
