THUNDERSTORMS are set to hit Swindon next week.
The Met Office's latest forecast for the coming days shows heavy rain throughout Monday before thunder and lightning arrives on Wednesday.
No weather warning has been issued for the area, but there is a 90 per cent chance of strong downpours from 6am on November 23 followed by a 60 per cent chance of thunderstorms from 12pm to 3am the following day.
Temperatures are expected to range between four and eight degrees Celsius on Monday, then six to 10C on Wednesday.
Tuesday and Thursday should be fairly dry and cloudy, and there is a good chance of the clouds clearing to allow for sunshine over Swindon on Friday.
But on Monday and Wednesday, it's going to be very wet and blustery, with gusts reaching speeds of up to 35mph on the 21st and 29mph on the 23rd.
