A victim has been hospitalised following an alleged serious assault in Liden.
The incident took place at 4.35am on Monday (November 21) in a property in Sheringham Court.
Police have arrested a man in his 50s on suspicion of GBH with intent and remains in custody at Gablecross police station for questioning.
Officers have confirmed that the victim, also a man in his 50s, was taken to Great Western Hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life changing.
A crime scene is currently in place while Wiltshire Police investigate.
