An alleged shoplifter spat at a member of staff at a service station in Swindon after he and fellow suspects tried to walk out with items.
Police are investigating following an incident which took place at the Kingshill garage on October 24.
Officers say a group of men pulled into the garage and filled up a vehicle with petrol before one of the men paid in cash.
Whilst this transaction took place, the other men entered the store, took several items from the shelves and put them in their pockets.
Once confronted by a member of staff they became aggressive and one of the men spat at the member of staff.
Wiltshire Police want to speak to five men in connection with the incident.
