Work is continuing on a major project to redevelop part of the town centre into a bus boulevard.
Swindon Borough Council is spending £33 million on the Fleming Way project, including the new national bus hub on the site of the former Cheltenham Street car park.
Once the whole scheme is to be completed in Autumn 2024, with the new inclusive bus interchange accommodating all bus services in the town centre.
This will mean all the town's bus services being able to leave from one single location.
These will also include the inter-urban bus and coach services (Oxford, Salisbury and National Express Services).
Last week Adver photographer Dave Cox went down to the site to have a look at the latest progress.
Diggers were spotted with fencing being erected on the former bus interchange.
The road looks set to be ripped up in the next few weeks as the council looks to rebuild the site.
Work on the project is expected to last two years, with the area now being closed off to vehicles and pedestrians.
The underpass is to set to be demolished along with the removal of the old bus station.
New cycle routes are also set to be included as part of the plans.
