Here is the list of planning applications that Marlborough Town Council has considered following a planning committee meeting that was held on November 14.
The town council resolved it had no objection to the following applications.
PL/2022/07841 – Demolition of existing bungalow and construction of replacement dwelling and associated landscape works at Long Summers, Cross Lane, Marlborough for Mr & Mrs Jackson.
PL/2022/08067 – Erection of low voltage downward facing bollard and sign lights around Marlborough Golf Club car park for safety purposes at Marlborough Golf Club, Port Hill, Marlborough for Mr Steve Scott-Bowen.
PL/2022/07777 – Single-storey rear extension and enlargement of front window at 14 Baylie Acre, Marlborough for Mr & Mrs R Di Landro
PL/2022/08316 – Erection of garden room at Washpool Cottage, Pewsey Road, Marlborough for Mr Guy Saxton
All of these proposed developments received no objection from the town council.
The committee objected to only one application.
PL/2022/07749 – Creation of driveway to provide charging point for electric cars at 7 St Johns Close, Marlborough for Mrs Melanie Haggerty.
The following applications to work on trees were also not objected to.
PL/2022/08264 – T1 Hornbeam – adjacent to car bay for No 12 – Crown reduce by 1.5m approx. to give clearance from car bay. T2 White Mulberry – tree becoming too large for situation – fell and replace with smaller flowering ornamental Prunus at 12 Clarendon Court, Marlborough for Kingsbury Hill Management Company
PL/2022/08631 – Horse Chestnut Tree – overall canopy reduction of 2-3m and crown raise to 5m at Hyde Lodge, Hyde Lane, Marlborough for Mrs Scott.
