Love Marlborough Kids Meals is celebrating receiving a cash boost.
It comes after Fine & Country Marlborough and Devizes held a Christmas charity quiz at The Roebuck pub on London Road on November 23.
£350 was raised from the quiz, with a further £1000 coming from the Fine & Country Foundation.
Ed Taylor, Director at Fine & Country Marlborough and Devizes, said: “Relying on generous donations and staffed by volunteers, this is a fantastic organisation that we are proud to support.”
The charity is part of the 'Love Marlborough' initiative which was created by the Marlborough Anglican Team with the intention of bringing hope in difficult times.
Volunteers cook and deliver hot, nutritious food to help families in the local community who need extra assistance.
This includes Marlborough and other parts of Wiltshire.
