More floral tributes have been laid in memory of Owen Dunn as the outpouring of grief in the Haydon End community continues.

The 18-year-old was fatally stabbed to death on Sunday.

A 14-year-old and a 20-year-old were arrested on suspicion of murder.

Wiltshire Police are still questioning the teenager but have released the elder of the two under investigation.

On Tuesday, members of the public were spotted laying flowers at the site of the altercation, with some wellwishers visibly moved.

Swindon Advertiser:

One person was spotted laying a St George’s flag with the words ‘Rest in Peace.’

As the days have passed, the amount of flowers being laid at the scene has only grown.

Swindon Advertiser:

Owen's loved ones have turned a tree near the police cordon on Torun Way into a makeshift shrine for the teenager.

Candles, flowers, balloons, cards, and a Liverpool FC shirt have been tied to the metal posts around the plant.

One of Owen’s friends Callum spoke to the Adver on Monday.

He said: "This is the last thing you would expect to happen to him, he had a heart of gold, was a big Liverpool fan, loved football and was brilliant at games, just like a normal guy.

"I could not feel more sorry for him and his family. It's unfair - he was someone's son, and brother, and boyfriend, and a lot of people liked him.

"Knives are more common than they should be. Some people are not taught that it's not the right thing to do."
