The staff of emergency services across Swindon will now be able to get their hands on a free cup of coffee or tea thanks to a local steakhouse.

Harper’s Steakhouse at the Weighbridge on Penzance Drive is offering police officers, staff, paramedics, and firefighters a free hot beverage this winter.

The promotion will run throughout the month of December, and no one is ruled out from the above list.

A post on the eatery’s Facebook page said: “Calling all Local Police officers, police staff, paramedics, firefighters.

“It's inevitable that this time of year is likely to be tough for all of you and we want to give you the opportunity to unwind even if it's just for a minute.

“So, with that being said, pop in any time throughout December and Coffee or Tea is on us.

“Whether you need to swing by whilst out and about to grab a takeaway drink or if you need to relax on your break. Please come and see us!

“If you’re on Duty, just finishing or having a break for the day, please don't Hesitate to come and say hi and grab a cuppa!”

Harper’s Steakhouse is open from 9am to 11pm six days a week, with the venue closing at the earlier time of 10.30pm on Sundays.
