A new Poundland is coming to Swindon and the company has announced it is looking forward to opening soon.
The new store will be opening at Greenbridge Retail Park on Saturday, December 10, and is one of eight stores the budget chain is opening around the country on the same day.
Poundland director of retail, Darren Kay, said: “We’re putting the finishing touches to our new store at Greenbridge Retail Park, Swindon, and are looking forward to opening our doors on Saturday, December 10, just in time for Christmas.
"We’ve put a lot of effort into making it a store Swindon can be proud of."
Darren added that he thought that the store would be the perfect addition to the area.
“We think customers are going to love the store which has been designed to offer customers more of what they want, from everyday essentials to PEP&CO clothing for the family. It goes without saying we make sure we offer amazing value which has never been so important when household budgets are under so much pressure.”
The new store will have 6,890 sq ft of space and employ 15 colleagues.
Opening day events include a ribbon cutting and a golden ticket giveaway with a top prize of £50 of vouchers.
