Swindon was represented at a regional business awards evening this week by a local business.

GEL Studios are a web, design and marketing agency based over in South Marston, Swindon.

The event that the GEL Studios team were in attendance for was the South West Business Awards, which was held on Thursday evening.

This awards show was hosted by Great British Expos and was held to celebrate the region’s brightest talents in the business world.

“We had a fabulous time last night at the South West Business Awards,” said a post on the company’s official Twitter page.

“It was a pleasure to meet like-minded people and get to recognise the success of so many.

“Congratulations to all finalists and award winners!”

A three course meal was laid on for those attending and the event was attending by hundreds.

GEL Studios were nominated for two awards, including Employer of the Year and Business Leader of the Year for managing director Graeme Leighfield, but agonisingly lost out this time around.

This is the first time the awards have been held since 2020 due to the outbreak of the Covid pandemic.

GEL Studios have been around since 2013 and the team will celebrate their tenth anniversary in the summer of next year.
