Following another stabbing in Swindon, a major route into the town has reopened.
Queens Drive from the Magic Roundabout to Drakes Way was closed following a case where a teenager was hospitalised.
Officers were called 4.45 am on Saturday following reports of an incident in Dudmore Road.
They were also guarding a property in Seldon Close, a cul-de-sac off Lennox Drive.
The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries which are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening and is due to be discharged shortly.
A woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody.
Police were spotted turning away traffic at the Magic Roundabout with motorists asking why the road was closed.
Staff at the Burger King were allowed to pass through albeit being escorted by an officer.
One person who was at the scene spoke to Adver saying that his parent’s house had been cordoned off.
However, after a few hours, the road reopened to traffic with Wiltshire Police confirming the news.
Swindon Town and AFC Wimbledon fans faced potential disruption ahead of the League Two clash at the County Ground on Saturday.
But supporters of both clubs should now be able to get to the game for the 3 pm kick-off.
Police are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone with information is asked to call them on 101 and quote log 68 as of today.
