Swindon's motorists have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a hold-up of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, includes the following:
M4: From 8pm November 28 to 6am December 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closures for signage work.
M4: From 8pm November 17 2022 to 6am January 4 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closures for barrier work.
M4: From 8pm December 12 to 6am December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 both directions, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closures for electrical work.
M4: From 10pm December 12 to 6am December 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes):
M4 westbound, junction 16 entry slip road closure for bridge inspections, diversion M4 eastbound to junction 15 and return.
A419: From 9am to 2pm on December 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A419 northbound, Rat Trap, junction entry Slip, Full slip road closure for Lamp Column Repair (147L4).
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
