A dogwalker in Swindon was encountered by a man in the bushes who threatened to expose himself last week.
Swindon Police mentioned the incident in a statement on their official Facebook page on Thursday.
A woman, in her 40s, was walking her dog in Lydiard Park on the evening of Friday, January 6, and was met with trouble as a man who was hiding in the bushes stopped her.
He was wearing a loose grey/blue jacket and proceeded to threaten to expose himself.
The Swindon Police post said: “Officers are investigating a report of man threatening to indecently expose himself in a Swindon park.
“A woman in her 40s was walking her dog on her own around 6.45am in Lydiard Park on Friday when she was stopped by a man hiding in the bushes.
“The man in described as wearing a loose grey/blue jacket.”
Police are urging anyone walking in the area to be extra vigilant and encourage them to call 999 or 101 if they see anything suspicious.
