A teen charged with two stabbings in Swindon has been brought back before court.
The 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged in connection with stabbings at the Link Centre in October and in Royal Wootton Basett on New Year's Day.
He was charged with seven offences including two incidents of grievous bodily harm.
The boy originally appeared in court on Wednesday, January 4, and was charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm, affray, and possession of a bladed article in connection with a disorder in Royal Wootton Bassett on New Year’s Day in which a 15-year-old boy was stabbed.
The boy has now been brought back to court and appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, January 11.
This latter appearance was procedural and no pleas were entered.
The New Year's Day attack happened at around 4pm in Ruxley Close.
Police arrested a total of six teenagers suspected of violent disorder at the time which included the victim.
A woman suspected of assisting an offender was also arrested but all of whom were later released on bail.
The incident at the Link Centre occured on October 29, and another 14-year-old boy seriously injured.
At the time, police said the victim had his wrists cut and was stabbed in the abdomen.
