A man has been arrested after a vehicle crashed into a food retail shop in Trowbridge on Tuesday night.
Emergency services were called just after 10pm to the incident at the Davana Thai restaurant and takeaway in Stallard Street.

Extensive damage was caused to the restaurant after the vehicle – a red Citroen C3 – crashed through the front window. Significant damage was caused to the vehicle.
When officers arrived, it was reported that the driver and passengers had decamped and fled the scene in the direction of Trowbridge railway station.
Extensive searches were conducted and a man in his 20s from Bradford on Avon was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive through drink or drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is currently in Melksham custody for further questioning. Enquiries are ongoing.
