Firefighters were called to a blaze at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon on Wednesday afternoon.
An incident involving an Apple iPhone resulted in a small fire at the hospital, with two emergency vehicles attending the scene following a call at 3:32pm.
No one is believed to have been injured in the flames and the incident was already dealt with when the emergency services arrived.
The vehicles, one from Swindon and one from Stratton, stayed at the scene until 3:48pm, with no action needed.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “We were called to a healthcare facility on Marlborough Road, Swindon at 3.22pm this afternoon.
“Crews from Swindon and Stratton attended the incident which involved a small fire and an Apple iPhone.
“The fire was out on arrival so no firefighting action was carried out. Our stop came at 3.48pm.”
