A grey street in the middle of Swindon is more colourful thanks to some of the town's artists.
Swindon Borough Council has spent the last few months working with Artsite and The Post Modern to make Carfax Street more colourful.
Coun Matty Courtliff posed with the talented bunch of local creatives behind Murals By Sarah, Knots and Not Knots, and Inca The Mole who have all worked hard to turn boring grey walls into vivid and eye-catching displays which will delight passersby for the foreseeable future.
Soon, more parts of the town centre will be transformed as the project continues throughout 2023.
A council spokesman said: "Over the past few months, amazing pieces of artwork have been appearing on Carfax Street.
"We’re pleased to be working with a local artists group on this project, and we hope everyone enjoys them.
"Along with these amazing pieces, there’s more to come!
"Throughout the coming months, new pieces will be installed on the corner of Whalebridge - opposite the Leonardo Hotel, formerly Jury’s Inn - to brighten up the area as work continues on Kimmerfields and the Fleming Way improvements."
